Today's "Gastromuzika" guest is a DJ who is probably the only one who has the natural power of nature. Those around him say that he is a relative of the warm and fresh breeze: if he does something, it is always with a wind. After starting his musical career as a rapper, he later took over the radio stations and organized various events from Northern Lithuania to the seaside.
Now he pays tribute to music lovers and gourmets in his podcast "Kava ir Vinilas", organizes the most famous alternative music festival in Panevėžys "Iškrovos" - art platform, makes coffee at private gastronomic events and often spins behind the DJ turntables in various parts of the country. Trust me - from 19.00 a warm and refreshing wave will hit our studio together with Tomas Vėjas.
A few days ago I was invited on the orange carpet to the prestigious LRT Opus studio. There, I had to explain what the coffee was put in and what the vinyls were for in general. To tell the truth - I have no idea, but this is a rare occasion when one of the most famous coffee makers and disc jockeys (me - Tomas Vėjas) could be seen in the national LRT studio. Although neither Andrius Mamontovas, nor Ramūnas Zilnys, nor other normal presenters agreed to interview me because of a cold, I thank Aleksandras Kovganko-Sania Banginis for the invitation to his radio show Gastromuzika. I brought the story of my life and the sounds of music to the radio air - not for dancing, but for serious listening! I tried to be relatable and not brag too much and tell only "failure" stories that everyone likes. Unfortunately, the interview still turned out to be disgustingly fun and interesting. At Gastromusic, I revealed the secrets of afterparties that only happen in kitchens, we chatted about self-criticism that comes with age, we marveled at how precisely I make coffee and without conjuring much, we listened to records made from coffee grounds. I'm serious.
